Dave founded ISI in 2009 after 23 years in the risk management/security business. ISI serves Fortune 100 firms, universities and non-profit organizations, and multinational government entities with an extensive slate of services in security, investigations, business risk management, training and awareness.
Dave began his career in 1986 while working at Digital Equipment Corporation as a cooperative student at Northeastern University. He has held senior management positions at several prestigious companies including Stratus Computer, Lotus Development Corporation, and State Street Bank. His experience encompasses executive and strategic management, operations, corporate investigations, security system design, training, sales, and recruiting. At State Street he directed security for the bank’s worldwide facilities, as well as, its Global Command Center.
While at State Street, Dave was selected to attend the ISMA Management Training Program in Washington D.C. He was later tapped to participate in and ultimately lead the Mentoring and Diversity Committee.
Following his tenure at State Street, Dave served as Business Development Manager for Allied Security (Currently AlliedBarton Security) selling the very service he once was tasked with managing. He was promoted to District Manager and then to Senior District Manager responsible for a 20+ million dollar super district spanning four states.
Dave also managed one of the largest national accounts for Tyco Fire and Safety’s Software House division prior to leaving and becoming a Vice President in TSS International, a retained search firm for Security Executives.
Dave’s professional and volunteer affiliations include the National Speakers Association, ASIS International, where he has held several leadership positions for local chapters and the international organization. The High Technology Crime Investigations Association (HTCIA); International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), and Business Owner Management Association (BOMA), as well as, local community based groups. He was recently nominated to sit on a non-profit board for Inner City Weightlifting in Boston.
David holds a BA/BS in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. He lives with his wife and two children in Burlington, MA.
