Bobcat Expands its M-Series Skid Steer Loaders
Seven new medium-sized skid-steer and compact track loaders make up the most popular size class in the Bobcat® loader family, providing operators with superior performance, increased visibility, unmatched cab comfort and easier serviceability to maximize jobsite efficiency.
The machines include:
- S510, S530, S550, S570 and S590 skid-steer loaders
- T550 and T590 compact track loaders
With the addition of the 500 frame-size models, Bobcat offers 12 skid-steer loaders, eight compact track loaders and an all-wheel steer loader.
Performance unlike any other
Bobcat has a history of designing the most popular compact loaders on the market and that hasn't changed over the years. Their popularity is due to superior machine performance which is also found on their new S530, S570, S590 and T590 models. These four models all feature a vertical lift path - providing operators the ability to lift heavier loads - making it easier to clear high-sided truck boxes and hoppers, as well as placing pallets loaded with heavy material. Radius lift path models include the S510 and S530 skid-steer loaders and T550 compact track loaders, ideal for backfilling applications.
Increased visibility in all directions
The 500 frame-size loaders feature a unique cab-forward design that moves the operator closer to the attachment and provides unmatched visibility in all directions. Bobcat skid-steer and compact track loaders boast the largest cab door opening on the market, providing superior visibility to the cutting edge of the bucket or corners of an attachment. Operators will find the machines easier to enter and exit as well as improved visibility due to the cab door threshold being lowered and the overall surface of the door being increased more than 40 percent.
Daily comfort
Operator comfort allows for a more productive, creative working environment so Bobcat increased the size of the 500 frame-size loader cab by 10 percent, redesigned the interior to allow operators to adjust the environment to their individual preference and improved cab pressurization. Bobcat 500 frame-size loaders have the best-in-class pressurized cab with a one-piece seal that goes around the door, minimizing the amount of dirt and dust that can enter the cab.
Spending minimal time on routine maintenance
M-Series loaders are designed to work long hours in a variety of demanding conditions so simple check points and superior design make it easier to correctly perform routine maintenance at the proper intervals.
Design improvements include:
- Auxiliary hydraulic quick couplers mounted to the front plate of the lift arm
- Guard bar extending in front of the coupler for added protection
- Steel tailgate preventing items from penetrating engine compartment
- Cooling system for increased efficiency and easier cleaning
