Online Marketing Analyst

Position Description:

This position provides an excellent opportunity to become an outstanding search engine marketer from one of the leaders in the industry. With profit and loss responsibility for a multi-million dollar marketing portfolio, you will work with all the leading search engine marketing (SEM) platforms including Google, Yahoo and MSN, and learn many related techniques to create, optimize and grow our results. Your creativity will also be tapped as our entrepreneurial culture greatly encourages refining our current practices and testing new ideas in our constant quest to improve results. Your innovation, creative thinking and success will be rewarded with ownership of new projects, programs and channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day financial results
  • Collect, synthesize and analyze data for program performance
  • P&L (profit and loss) management for sectors of the overall business
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Online Marketing and other cross-division colleagues
  • Identify expansion opportunities within and outside current marketing plan
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis where needed

Requirements:

Java Software Engineer

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified, highly motivated Java Software Engineer who enjoys the challenges of creating enterprise-caliber Java systems. This person is expected to interface extensively with the rest of the team, but also be able to carry out a project or task independently with little supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong Java and object-oriented design background and will help create and maintain web-based e-commerce applications for BuyerZone's web site (www.buyerzone.com). Looking for individuals who want to work in the JBoss, Spring, Hibernate, Java Environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Make enhancements to transactional quoting engine, reporting, and internal management applications.
  • Architect, design, develop and test future products as well as engineer innovative and creative enhancements for existing products.
  • Participate in regular team design and code review meetings.
  • Research new web technologies and how those technologies can be utilized to incorporated cost-effective functionality into our system.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years industry experience with 3+ years experience in Java software design and development.
  • Strong object-oriented design, software reusability, testing, and debugging skills required.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Servlets.
  • Experience with any RDBMS accepted, knowledge of Oracle preferred.
  • Solid skills in JSP, HTML and JavaScript for creating interactive web applications required; knowledge of other web services and distributed technologies a plus.
  • Experience with the JBoss application server.
  • Ability to develop in both the Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience working with Subversion or CVS, and Maven or Ant a plus.
  • Experience working on high availability, transactional applications.
  • Attention to details and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability and willingness to proactively interact creatively and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

National Sales Manager

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating, and implementing strategic alliances with major national corporate partners. You will manage a portfolio of existing business categories as well as launch new categories with a focus on recommending and implementing actions to grow revenues within your portfolio.

  • Closing new sales prospects and building revenue within your assigned product/service categories

Requirements:

  • College degree and at least 5-8 years previous sales experience preferably in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Proven Inside Sales skills with track record of sales success and over-achievement of sales quotas/goals
  • Proven experience and success prospecting and closing accounts.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Proven ability in cold calling senior level executives
  • Account management experience with track record of growing and maintaining accounts over the long-term
  • “Hunter mentality” and a desire to over-achieve.
  • Team-player with high-energy, drive and maturity
  • High energy level along with outstanding time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and related CRM database, customer relations and reporting software

Regional Account Executive

Description:

The Regional Account Executive is accountable for identifying and nurturing new and existing clients. Working in close cooperation with others assigned to our Local Markets Direct Sales Team, you will prospect potential clients, provide product and services information, and arrange for on-line demonstrations of our lead generation service. A large portion of the workday is spent in telephone and email contact with prospective and existing clients. This mid-level, one-to-one marketing and customer contact position will enable you to continue your growth in sales, marketing, and related areas

Responsibilities:

  • Build loyal customer relationships via telephone with no significant revenue history to assigned territory. Rep is responsible for building territory through heavy cold calling.
  • Able to function in a high transactional sales volume environment with heavy independently sales generation.
  • Demonstrate persistence, tenacity, ability to overcome obstacles, and strive to improve skills and achieve goals.
  • Appropriately attract and sign new customers through the use of free trials and incentives.
  • Attain a minimum of 100% of assigned revenue goal and new account acquisition goal by initiating outbound calls to prospective customers and new accounts.
  • Prospect and work various leads conducting on-line demonstrations to demonstrate the features and benefits of our service.
  • Demonstrated personal organization, time management and resource use skills
  • Maintains the established standards for the minimum number of calls and talk time per day
  • Maintain a database of customers through documentation of activity
  • Present key selling points/features and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations - A demonstrated ability to outsell the status quo.
  • Demonstrated ability to inform and influence colleagues, clients and prospects
  • Consistently move the customer or prospect towards commitment, and close sales
  • Desire to make sustained contributions to work group and organization success
  • Manage and maintain a detailed pipeline to achieve assigned monthly quota

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in a high volume tele-sales center with heavy prospecting and lead generation, preferred.
  • Experience in a high outbound transactional call environment with a proven solid track record.
  • Familiar with working in an incentive/goal driven role environment.
  • Experience needs to be in a Prospecting/Lead Generation role, preferably in a high volume, low touch sales environment.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
  • High energy, drive, maturity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and related database, customer relations and reporting software
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments characterized by rapid growth and change
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives at one time
  • High-energy, proactive, and goal-driven
  • BA required
